چکیده

Abstract The objective of this study was to evaluate the performance a handheld NIR spectrometer for non-destructive quality analysis apples and pears produced in Brazilian Semi-arid region. spectra were acquired with portable wavelength range 750–1065 nm reference analyses dry matter content (DMC) soluble solids (SSC) measured weekly during 10 weeks storage at 0.5 °C. Spectra pre-processed standard normal variate used develop DMC SSC models using partial least squares regression full cross-validation. validated data not included calibration. Satisfactory prediction results obtained (R² = 0.58) 0.55), 0.55) 0.65). All showed relative root mean square error lower than 8%. These findings indicate that is promising tool be rapid determination internal traits pears.

Non-destructive Quality Assessment of Citrus Fruits Using Ft-near-infrared Spectroscopy

Nondestructive method of measuring the internal quality of citrus fruits was developed using fourier transform near-infrared (FT-NIR) spectroscopy. Also the models describing the relationship between quality attributes and the NIR spectra of the fruits were developed and evaluated. Diffuse reflectance measurements (12500–3600 cm -1 ) and biochemical measurements were performed individually on e...

Prediction of Freshness Quality and Phosphate Residue of White Shrimp Products Using Near-Infrared Spectroscopy

Background: The manufacturing of frozen shrimp is an important industry for the economy of Thailand. The objective of this study was to use Near-Infrared (NIR) spectroscopy to determine the freshness quality, including Total Volatile Basic Nitrogen (TVB-N) and Water Holding Capacity (WHC) of white shrimp (whole and chopped shrimp) and phosphate residues of shrimp. Methods: Sixty white shrimp ...
